Korean people use soy sauce very often, seasoning purpose. It is not just soy sauce, many ingredients are put into. The most notable is scallion, garlic, chilly pepper powder, sugar and others. This is known as 한국식 양념간장 that can be used for dipping sauce, mixed rice seasonings, or served with meat products.
The seasoned soy sauce is served with 오징어 파전 (squid scallion flour pancake) or 콩나물 비빔밥 (bibimbap with soy sprout), many other applications are available.
Some people make 양념 간장 marinated with 장아찌 bottle, which is tasteful with marinated ingredient’s special tastes are soaked out of the ingredients (such as chilly pepper, onions, radishes and so on)
