Human life is conditioned by relationship with peoples. Many people are open to quarrel or critiques by others, the openness often cause meaning crisis of their life stories. At the Internet, for example, there are anti-fans against certain celebrities. Their interest is to make logics against whom they don’t like, the state of being critiques is 까임 which is noun form of being the state 까였다 and it is colloquial term that has nuance of oppressive mode of being harsh critiques.
In some cases, 까임 is not possible and the person’s background is transcendent from 까임. Young Korean people often say this as 까임방지권, which means “protected from taking harsh critique” which is used either positive or negative sense by specific situations.
Some young cognitive scientist used this term to criticise Lacanian philosophers’s culpability. This makes sense because Lacanian psychoanalysts are making theories against men without culpable state. 까임방지권 is used this way, to make oppressive people to be saved from the oppression. The cognitive scientist used it as “Lacan has unjust protection from being critique” and it does make agreement by many science students against psychoanalysis.
It is used otherwise too, depending on situations.
The entertainment industry, the term is used for light entertainment styles. In most cases, it is only popular technical term. In other cases, it would be appeared by defamation to the subject target, so caution is advised.
